Checkout runs on Shopify. We never see your card number, and there is nowhere on our systems for it to be stored.
How payment works
When you pay, the card details go from your browser straight to the payment processor over an encrypted connection. They do not pass through us. What comes back to our order record is the card brand and the last four digits, which is what lets us match a refund to the right payment and nothing else.
Shopify’s checkout is certified PCI DSS Level 1, the highest of the four merchant levels. That certification belongs to the checkout, not to us claiming it about ourselves.
What we take
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the other major cards shown at checkout
- The express wallets your device offers — Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- PayPal, where it appears at checkout for your region
The exact set available to you depends on your country and your device, and is shown before you pay rather than guessed at here.
Prices and currency
All prices on this site are in United States dollars and exclude import duty and local tax. Outside the United States your own customs authority may charge duty and tax on arrival, usually before the parcel is released, and that is yours to pay. We do not collect it and cannot estimate it for every destination.
Payment is taken when you place the order. If an obvious pricing error occurs we will contact you before shipping and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
The site itself
- Every page is served over TLS — the padlock in your address bar covers the whole site, not just checkout.
- We do not store card numbers, CVV codes or full bank details anywhere.
- Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to pack and support orders.
What we will never do
We will never email or message you asking for your card number, your CVV, your bank login or a password. If something claiming to be us does, it is not us — forward it to info@pilvarox.com and delete it.
We will also never ask you to complete a payment by bank transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency. Every legitimate Pilvarox order is paid at the Shopify checkout on pilvarox.com.
If something looks wrong
If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact your bank first — they can freeze the card faster than we can do anything — and then email us with the date and amount. We will check it against our order records and tell you plainly what we find.
